How an Unannounced Site Visit Works

An unannounced site visit is a check-in made without warning to allow the client to see how a business, property, or asset looks on an ordinary day.

Why Unannounced?

A scheduled visit can be staged. Unannounced visits provide actual and real operating conditions, which is why financial institutions, health plans and government agencies use them for verification.

Before the Visit

The client sends the name, address, what to confirm, and any requirements and rules for the visit. The order is routed to a screened, professional and badged professional representative in that territory.

At the Site

The professional representative identifies themselves as required by the client, confirms the location, observes signage, activity and equipment or inventory, and photographs what the client requests.

After the Visit

Photos are GEO-stamped and date-time stamped, notes and information are quality reviewed, and the report is delivered through NCCI's protected and secure client portal or the client's system.

What the Visit Does Not Do

It does not accuse or investigate. It documents what is there, and the client decides what to do next.
