Contact, Qualify and Fulfilled Services:  "HAMP" Program Outsourcing

Industry Challenges: 

The current economic climate has resulted in unprecedented Loss Mitigation workload in the mortgage industry, specifically loan modification initiatives such as the Home Affordable Modification Program (HAMP).  This program has created the need for borrower contact and qualification process that is both required and labor intensive.  With government incentives in place for servicers, increased fulfillment is now imperative.  To properly execute such critical initiatives, mortgage servicers must choose an outsource partner with the compliance, expertise and track record to provide quality, consistent results in a cost-effective manner.

NCCI Solutions: 

As an extension to NCCI's, Contact & Pre-Qualify Services, NCCI offers a second level of service that serves to complete HAMP Loan Modifications from the point of at-risk borrower contact to fulfillment of the Loan Modification "'trial package".  NCCI refers to this process as Contact to Cure

NCCI utilizes industry leading at-risk borrower contact strategies to contact borrowers and elicit meaningful engagement as to the process. Once engaged, our Loss Mitigation staff will obtain and analyze financials and physical copies of required income verification documents.  If qualified, NCCI will complete the trial period package to include execution and delivery of all required documents to the servicer for review and referral into permanent loan modification process upon completion of the trial period.

The NCCI solution combines the three main labor intensive functions of the Loan Modification process; borrower Contact, borrower program Qualification and borrower modification Fulfillment.

NCCI Results

Recent mass-modification campaigns by servicers have often resulted in a large percentage of un-fulfilled modifications due to a fall-off in "borrower engagement".  Examples of such include; receipt of complete income verification info, trail mod agreements, or other required documents required from the borrower. 

NCCI's borrower Contact, Qualify and Fulfillment services by use of industry leading, in person contact strategies will keep the borrower actively engaged through completion of the process.  As a result, this will dramatically increase the fulfillment percentage of HAMP Loan Modifications or other initiatives.  In cases whereby the borrower does not qualify for HAMP Loan Modification, NCCI will forward the servicer a comprehensive report with recommendation of Loss Mitigation options specific to the borrower's situation.  

NCCI competitive pricing model is based upon "pay for performance" whereby a lesser per file fee is charged for results if NCCI is unable to contact borrower or loan mod fulfillment is not completed.  In doing so, the servicer can choose high risk account populations that otherwise will result in potential increased losses.
