Mr. Bellows was first admitted to practice law in 1981. He was in private practice for over 25 years, including numerous trials and appeals. His practice centered on representing banks, credit unions, and other financial institution, as well as repossession companies in the area of defense of collection and repossession issues. He has served as a guest speaker for those issues on many occasions over the years. Mr. Bellows is admitted to practice in all California State and Federal Courts, as well as the Federal 6th and 9th Circuit Courts of Appeal, and has practiced Pro Hac Vice in Arizona, Michigan, Virginia, and Florida. He is a member of the Association of Corporate Counsel and the Mortgage Bankers Association.

Mr. Bellows had been outside counsel for NCCI for many years. In 2007 he came in-house as Vice President - General Counsel. In addition to traditional General Counsel matters, his duties include all contracting issues, compliance issues, State licensing, investigation of all complaints, as well as interacting with Clients and Regional Vendors to assure lawful and quality performance of our services.
